I have partnered with the local DA Davidson office to reduce the impact of cyber scams on our community. After receiving a call from our state representative, I met with the Mesa County Sheriff's office and learned about the volume of scams and fraud levied against our citizens.

This talk is an effort to educate the community on identifying, avoiding, and responding to scams and fraud. I will walk through the most common attacks, who is perpotrating them, where they are, and the tools they use to separate our community from its hard-earned money.

The Mesa County Sheriff's office will be on-site to discuss its efforts to reduce this threat and what attendees can do if they or a loved one is impacted by a scam.
